This incident caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
